Intro to Forced Labor Training

Forced and child labor is being recognized globally as a threat to multiple communities, where individuals are compelled against their will to provide work or service through the use of force, fraud, or coercion.

Course Description

BITE U helps users understand how to leverage data, and analysis tools to ensure they are not partaking in Forced Labor activities and/or are including Forced Labor components in their supply chain,

We help users ensure they are on the rights side of Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA) and other import-related statutes and regulations.

Our Training includes a focus on helping users understand the following, and not be found wanting with regard to:

1. Forced labor as a form of modern slavery that stubbornly persists, particularly in the XUAR, contributing to Uyghur repression.

2. How forced labor unfairly lowers manufacturing costs which hurts U.S. domestic industries and American job security. 

3. How forced labor civil and criminal penalties can be very severe for companies found to be in violation.Companies associated with forced labor violations suffer severe reputational damage.

4. How CBP and Homeland Security Investigations are proactively pursuing forced labor violations with strong Congressional budgetary support.

Throughout our course we use real world examples and cases to help users understand the gravity of Forced Labor violations.
