India Tariff Revision Now Reflected in the Platform

Shape

As you’ve probably seen, India tariffs were adjusted this week. Specifically, the additional 25% duty tied to Russian oil has been removed.
This change is now live in the platform.

For example, if you search HTS code 4802.55.1000, you’ll notice that prior to the 7th, the combined tariff rate showed 50%. As of this week, it’s now 25%, reflecting the removal of that extra 25% measure.

Important to note: Annex II exemptions still apply. So if your product qualifies under Annex II, those exemptions remain in place.

One more operational reminder — when you save a ticket for rescreening, you have two options. You can either re-screen based on the date the original screening was run, or you can keep it continuously up to date.

Because tariff changes are sometimes backdated, saving based on the original run date can be especially helpful. It gives you a clear record of which tickets were screened under which tariff regime — and makes it much easier to identify which ones need to be revised when back-dated updates like this happen.
