ESG Training

Environment, Sustainability and Governance (ESG) is an evolving space, with increasing definitions, data and priorities. At BITE, we focus on the trade-related aspects of ESG - such as forced labor compliance, and the effects of illegal wildlife trafficking and trade in environmentally impactful commodities.
We also touch on Corporate Social Responsibility and regulations such as the European Union's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).

Course Description

BITE U helps users understand how to leverage data and analytics to understand their ESG profile as an organization, especially from a trade focus.

Our industry-leading data sets focus on companies that are importing commodities into the US, including things like Cocoa, Coffee, Palm oil, Timber, Banana, Cotton, Steel, Polysilicon(+semiconductors, PV), Cobalt, Lithium (+Li-ion batteries), Copper. We help users track these commodities in their supply chain, and ensure they keep a positive ESG footprint.

We go through hands-on use cases to show you how to create a more socially-responsible supply chain, and to identify ESG risks in your vendors and suppliers.

By the end of the course, participants will emerge with a deep understanding of Environment, Social, Governance (ESG) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) principles and best practices, empowering them to proactively create an ESG-centric company.

Training is applicable to employees from entry level to executive, and users receive a BITE U certificate upon completion.
